Happiness is...

... welcoming home family.  Alan's father is serving a one year deployment in Afghanistan.  Mr. Sinks was able to come home for a few days to complete a course in Virginia.  These were the first moments of seeing his wife again after more than three months away.  

This is one of a few special moments recently which has helped me focus more intently on happiness.  The idea is pretty simple: a weekly capture of something that makes me happy.  It might be something small or monumental; it might be a moment of my happiness or another person's moment of pure joy.  Who knows where this will lead but I hope this is a happy reminder.
