Project Life :: Months 1 & 2

This year started in the Outer Banks with champagne and a lot of photos of Mackenzie.  I anticipate 2012 closing with a lot of photos of Mackenzie and the nugget.  Probably a lot of photos of them both sleeping.  

For the first two months of 2012, I included photos from our trip to North Carolina, the party I threw for the triathlon girls, and then lots of photos of Addison.  Probably my favorite photo is the black & white picture of Alan holding her little baby toes.  Is there anything sweeter than baby toes?  I love those fat little feet.  

The weekend of Addison's birth was also the weekend I purchased my 50 mm lens.  I remember trying it out and feeling completely at loss.  I've learned and experimented so much since then.  And that's kind of my life this year.  Some bits have been frustrating learning experiences but most of it created beautiful memories.  Like Mr. Franklin stated, I am trying to correct my vices, enjoy my neighbors, and end this year better than I was in the year prior.
